My watch photos just don't seem to get as much love here as the creepy spider shots...<shrug>...:lol: BUT...here's a nice macro shot of the second hand on my Yacht-Master taken with an L series 180mm lens...<drool>...

What do you think?

Excellent work on the second hand. very sharp, it would look even better if you had an Ant or even a Springtail on the face of the watch. but, that is just my Biased Bug Opinion.:D :D :D :D ;) :D :D :D

Wonderful shots- beautifully taken - the lighting is amazing. Always nice to see some non bug/flower shots here. :)

The dial of the Yacht-master is platinum and has that "gravely" look to it in order to make it sparkle.

Nice shot :D I think a shadow will improve it greatly.

Nice idea...If I change the lighting orientation, I could get a natural shadow on the 2nd hand.

I was actually refering to the second hand, the red looks really grainy to me, does it have a similar finish to the dial?
