just curious what method is used by you guys with the clear sharp pictures loaded on these forums ... what is your saving for upload steps to keep them within the limits.. just curious .. a link to somewhere that talks about this would be great also

resize use USM and and then upload..thats all I do..

USM ? i must admit im new to learning this ? sorry for such a dumb question thats why i am here

USM is a way of sharpening in Photoshop, it stands for unsharp mask.. find it under filters -> sharpen in PS :) (or PS CS2, at any rate, I can't speak for any other versions).

Quick and simple method - Resize to 400 pixels wide / long -Then use "Sharpen Edges"

Not as nice as USM but no options to ponder.
