These look like very nice panoramas although with the size constraints of the forum, it is kind of hard to properly appreciate them.
PS I'm curious, your copyright implies your name is John, but your id implies that it might be Andy.

Yeah, my first name is Andrew, but I've always been called John.
Wasn't sure what this forum was going to be like when i was told about it, so never used my chosen name.
This forum has since exceeded my expectations.

I know what you mean John. It is a great place for ego boosting and for constructive advice too. :)

Taken from the 8th floor of the Horizon Casino Resort in South Lake Tahoe, lots of snow between 8th and 19th March, didn't get chance to go round to Emerald Bay on the 89 as it was closed:cry: . Needed to get some skiing in too.:D

The first layered shot (trees, mountain, clouds) is fantastic. The highlights in the second one look a tad blown.

Great color and composition. Worth hanging on any wall :-) Like some others said, pity they're not bigger.

The stitching was better than i thought, I used Photomerge in CS2, would be grateful of any other software packages people have has good results from, always willing to try something new.

I have some up in the forum, but I'm not happy the way the XT shots came out.

I use Panorama Factory version 4.3 (?) with great success. It doesn't do mosaics though. :-(

Nice shots, but would you have been able to go any higher to capture more of the lake? Or go up to Heavenly?
