I want to down load and view my G2 photos in Microsoft Windows NT via USB. I don't see any mention of the OE Software being compatible. Any alternative methods?

You can buy a PCMCIA card reader
to IDE or PCI-bus.
Or install 2 operating systems.
Or but a notebook and transfer pics via LAN.
Or a paraller port reader. quite slow.
Forget USB with NT.

I did a search here and it led me to a site (oop's forgot the URL) were I downloaded a file called "ip4n4153.exe" by a Co. called - Insideout -? I installed it and ZoomBrowzer-successfully (Administrator Login) and it enabled the USB ports. I then realized I left my G2 USB cable at my home PC.
Let You Know This PM

Yes, You can find third part USB software for NT.
But as far as I know, no manufacturer has made
Usb DEVICE drivers for the camera ( for NT).
As they did not made them for Windows 95.
If Your camera can emulate a hard disk, You may
get it work, if so tell us.

Well It didn't work. When I connected the camera ZoomBrowzer opened and the connection window had a choice for USB ports. I chose USB and the connection congiguration stopped responding (as seen in task manager) and a fault window came up with a message indicating there was not enough memory for the operation.
The machine has 265 MEG of RAM. Any suggestions.
No the G2 does not show up in NTWindows Explorer as a Drive.

I've not used NT extensively but if Win 2K was, in effect NT6, and Win XP is built on NT technology, then from my own experience with XP you should connect using the WIA driver and not the TWAIN one.
Hope this helps,
Barry
