Okay now its my turn to post images from several different tests this year.All images were shot with the 1D Mark ll and either the 400 2.8L w/1.4 TC. In my humble opion the 400 2.8 and the 1.4 TC is one of the best combinations of lens available today.

They look soft to me, but given your equpiment and the fact that they are obviously in focus i have a hrd time believing they are soft.

Downsized, poor jpeg encoding...whateve.
