First post, here's a statue the wife and I brought while station in Germany many years ago....we are more like this now ...not quite but nearer :). Did some ps on this mainly cutting out the background

Wow - you did a SUPER job of changing the background. The statuette is very cute too... I like the way you didn't slavishly follow the rules of 'not cropping bits off' because the way it fills the frame is perfect.

I can see you used the 'clouds' filter in ps.

An interesting experiment, might be to put an image of a REAL rural landscape behind the statue...

Thanks for you comments, yes i did use the render/clouds filter. The statuette has been sitting on our bureau for years and I see I should have wiped the dust off her arm...oops. I didnt see that before I posted it!
