Looking for that lens in excellent, near-new condition, both barrel and glass, cosmetics and function. Do not care about the original lens box/packaging.

Mind you, not that Mk II is really inferior function- and build-wise, just that I find the absence of the metal mount ring kinda aesthetically unappealing.;)

Prefer the lens to be available for inspection in the Greater Toronto Area.
Prepared to pay a reasonable premium for a lens in pristine condition.

You do know this is only a quarter the lens that the 200mm 1.8 is? Can you stack them maybe?

That's a thought ! I suspect the resulting combo would be on the slow side.
However, this exemplify the fact that even big time Lens collectors like Belmondo and myself have retained that keen appreciation for real excellence in classic lenses.
Too bad some of those can not be had new any more.
