Not sure I like all the shadows and lights and the complex border - bit busy for me.

I did notice a really bright highlight on her upper lip, one of those that once you see it you keep looking at it.

Your composition and lighting are perfect and the shadows really make this a wonderful image.

The potentil is terrific -- the execution a bit off on the following:

* The face (with the setting on my monitor at least) is a bit reddish

* The finger holding "whatever" does not jive

* The double border makes the right foot look like it has had a skin burn.

* I am not sure if this border gives the hillbilly look that you may be searching for.


The shadows are lovely, as id the background.

Also, the shadow from someone else is distracting, it's a loose end.

Perhaps a shadow of a straight backed chair could have worked.

Ein sehr schoenes Madschen.

However, for me, the pic has not worked well.
The subject is the girl, yet the ragged surround is brighter
and too busy and distracting.

I find the shadow distracting too and the fact that her
derriere is part out of the picture and part of the border.
And what's that on her upper lip ??

Also the lighting on the girl is rather dull.
Bring her out with better lighting and ignore all the fancy surround.

In English there is a saying, Klaus ............
Beauty unadorned is adorned the most.

`In other words, she is so lovely that she doesn't need
all the fancy trimmings and distractions.

when i have a little more time - i will work with the photo in PS, yes now i am thinking the frame is not so good - and i have to look for better light...
