Sad news, he was killed just down the road from me, for those who don't recognise his name, I am sure that you will recognise some of his work, his portfolio can be found here...

Whoops, didn't think of that, hope you dodn't get in trouble with the boss! My Art School dissertation was on Pornography and Art, if you need a copy for the tribunal let me know!
I guess you will have to stay uninspired today, have a look when you get home!

No problem ... guess they won't mind it any more than me spending my time on this forum here

I've heard reports that he took his life on train tracks, i'm not sure if that's been confirmed yet.

From his funeral:
"At about midday on Saturday 25th March he appears to have mounted the barrier beside the level-crossing at Barnes and deliberately put himself in the path of an oncoming train. It may have been a spur-of-the-moment decision but Lindsey, and Scarlett, his 14-year-old daughter, were both well aware of his fascination with death and his fear of growing old. In retrospect, the signs were there that he might choose one day to end his life in some sudden and violent way. His own work is full of allusions to such things, and many of you here may well have your own insights. For Lindsey certainly, the manner of his death, although deeply shocking and wounding, was not entirely a surprise."
Sad story. :(

Sad story, yes. It's too bad he didn't think of the trauma he may have caused the engineer of the train, who couldn't get out of his way. :-(
