Just got my Home Depot work lights:)

Had to test them out, and didn't have anyone to model so I decided to have a little fun:)... Anyhow, what do you think of the lighting? It main light off to my left and one light behind to the right and a reflector to fill. They definately get warm, but I kind of like the continuous lighting aspect. They are only temp though one day I will have some strobes. Or at least I keep telling myself that

hee.. no message. Just figured if I was going to do a self portrait I might as well have fun with it and these were the props available. Here is another one where I was playing with contrast.. probably went way overboard with it though

Just two 500 watt standalones.. They are a lot of fun so far. Need to come up with a better stand for my diffusers though. PVC pipe keeps melting:)

Thats terrible lol. I hope you work on that soon. I would say try metal .. but if you go to grab that your hand wont be too happy.

I was thinking metal too, but not sure about the weight and you are right you would have to make adjustments with a pot holder lol..
