G2 Software

Hi everybody - new to the forum...this is exactly what I was looking for!

I just ordered my G2, but it's backordered, won't be here for about a week or so. Can anyone give me a short rundown on what software comes with the G2, and what each program does? Right now I have an Olympus 510z, and a card reader. My OS is Windows ME. I usually just open up my pictures from the card reader right in Windows...how will this differ with the G2? Is the procedure more difficult?
