Well-done! I really like the ones with the hair light behind her.
She's absolutely gorgeous, which is why I don't like the one with the sunglasses. Those eyes are too beautiful to cover up!
If we ever have a Chicago area get-together, you simply MUST bring her along! :)

She's a good friend of mine and my little prodigy so I would definately have her with me. :) Thanks for the comments.

nice work, shoot looks like it was a lot of fun... you have some great shots here. I have a shoot on friday with a model who looks a lot like your model in these pics and that sunglasses pic has given me an idea :)... sure its a shame that those beautiful eyes are covered, but it is a very stylised shot and has a great effect.. there is potential to push that idea even further
look forward to seeing more of your work
steve
EDIT: in the sunglasses pic perhaps there is a little too much red? my opinion only

Great looking shots. I really like the 4th shot, looks like she was having fun. Care to share your lighting setup? Especially on 1 and 2. I don't really like that last shot, it seems to make her seem pudgy and she obviously is not. I think it's the way the shirt is sitting near her stomach that is throwing me off, could just be me though.

Outstanding. She is Beautiful and you captured her incredibly well. In a couple of the shots she looks like Eva Longoria. Only better.

Excellent ... sometimes a woman is simply glamorous and any photographs of her will be Glamor! I think maybe these should go in the glamor section ... they are really quite excellent. Maybe ask Maureen if you can post there ... she is a moderator in that forum.

Nice shots. I really like all of them but the one with the sunglasses, not her type of photo or it just doesn't fit with the rest. Well done!

I'd say a cross between Eva Mendez, and Eva Longoria.... Gorgeous either way, and you did a phenominal job capturing that.

Thanks for the comments! Definately post those pics up I am looking foreward to seeing them. As far as the red on pic II, I kinda inteded it that way but on some monitors it probably doesn't look like mine. At times it looks like the red is pushing a little so I definately see what you're saying.

This is beautiful work. But, could you do this amateur among pros a favor and post a little about your set up and gear? I am just geting into the art would love to know what lens(and camera) you used to set up these outstanding shots.
Also, what lighting gear did you use and how was it positioned?
And finally, what was your distance/position from the model as each shot was taken?
Sorry for all the questions. But, please enlighten me because these shots are very nice and I would love to have some insight on how they were set up and put together.
Thanks!

How did you get the shots with a perfect white or perfect black background? I know you didn't photoshop that :P

I really like #3 and #4.
I dig the coloring in #3, and #4 has a playfulness about it that I like...

Westcott Black Muslin fabric... I actually did have to use photoshop extensively to edit some of them cause the room was so small and I couldn't get her far enough away from the background. :(

Worth the trouble though, right? Pictures (and the model) look fantastic.

Adobe RGB but always converted to SRGB. I haven't noticed if it's made a difference yet though. I have my photoshop in srgb actually. I might try changing it and playing around comparing the differences. I know supposedly Adobe RGB is way better. My printing service I use requires sRGB and so does the web though so I'd always have to convert anyway.

I am confused, did I ask something inappropriate on my post or were my questions missed? If they are inappropriate, please let me know. Otherwise if th OP does not choose to answer, could another experienced member enlighten me on the lens and lighting equipment(and placement) you would use to reproduce these beautiful photos?
