A610/lensmate & canon 52mm

I just ordered the lensmate 52mm adapter for my A610. I also purchased the 52mm Canon close-up lens.
I was wondering if anyone has any photographic results from this combo, and also, what can I expect? Will this help produce "macro" images?
Will it hinder?
Also, what lens accessories are available for the A610 other than the the wide angle and teleconverter?

There are different degrees of close-up, wide, and tele converters, but that's pretty much the range for that sort of accessory. Filters is a separate catagory that has lots of variety... polarizers, neutral density, color correction, graduated coloration, star, diffusion, etc. etc. etc. Many classic filter effects can now be done with software after the fact, but polarizing and ND filters have uses that can't be easily duplicated in post.
