Can't speak for the other lenses .. but my most used lens is probably the Canon 10-22 EF-S. Its simply a great wide. Check out the MTF charts at Photozone for comps. Can't speak about value either as I don't know the price of the other lenses. Check out my use of the 10-22 by hitting the smugmug addy in my signature.
