It's against my better judgement to post more shots while I'm on a roll...don't want to wear out my welcome, but these really fill out the beach set as to the ones I think are my favorites..These may be getting to personal for everyones enjoyment...but I still like them...hope you all do...and CC PLEASE!!

Solid shots. They have that something extra that makes you realize they aren't just snapshots of the family at the beach.

Thanks Ajbalacic...they were not posed but planned...It's funney...I'll see a shot when I don't have the camera and think all night on how to duplicate the situation without letting the subjects know what I'm up to...gets difficult sometimes...sometims things just flow so nicely that you can't help but get a good shot.....I have to leave the camera at home sometimes so Myles gets uninterupted time with me and some of the shots I have missed then...............There is one that haunts me...nothing worse than a missed shot of a special situation........

Peachman, I didn't think they were posed- I meant the shots were well captured.
I hear what your saying about getting some uninterupted time with the little guy- you just don't realize how "engrossed" the photographer gets in looking through the viewfinder. It's good to put it down sometimes and see/experience life through both eyes.

Man, I hear you loud and clear there...kids weddings, graduations , special family moments etc I won't let myself pick up the camera...It's addictive beyond belief...sometimes I just feel like a peeper to life, grabbing little pieces of other peoples existance and hording them for myself to live over and over...then again it's such a chance to analize the fabric of life and interaction of the players...as in the second photo above...Here I see three seperate stories going on...Cathy enjoying her walk back up the beach knowing Myles is safe for now, Myles not having a care for the rest of the world and heading off, disconnected from Cathy..his movement thru the water is everything, and the water, not caring who is or is not there, relentlessly pounding the volcanic rock to sand and carressing the mountains, coaxing them to her bosum, to come down and lay with her, as part of the warm blue pacific.

Well said.
(Perhaps you should be a poet in addition to a photographer!)
Most of your images capture the joy of family life- I always enjoy them.

I don't use it during the winter unless asked for. Going to be bringing it out soon. Can't wait for something over 60 degrees. I hate the cold.:) Let me know when your coming down so we can get together.

I've never been to CR but you make it the beautiful place as I'm sure it is.I can't even begin to capture its beauty...The mountains and valleys seen from the highlands or the sea are so majestic and sweeping that I have never been able to put into photos the perspective ot the landscapes available...I'm going to work on panaramic composites this year and hopefully when I go back in November, return with an attempt at a hint of its beauty!!! Thanks 26...Please come and visit, I'm trying to buy a little piece of land there and will hopefully have a small house in a couple of years...welcome to come and explore from there!

The shots are awesome.
Its clear PEACHMAN is hustling us into his shots. One only needs to look at the masterful timing of the waves.
Good job ;)

awesome! Love how you captured two events in one pic. The mother and son, the waves crashing almost tells a life story...maybe they could be thinking about a lost loved one...thats what i gather.
