I have an S45 about 3 year old. the LCD has "stopped working" in all modes except photostitch. I believe that when it failed i was reviewing aphoto and zooming in. During use all sounds play and i can take pictures.but nothing on the display nor can I review pictures. I've recharged both batteries to full capacity and have restarted the camera several times. I connected the camera to my pc and changed the theme. LCD worked briefly, but when i turned camera on/off lcd failed to function. When I turn the camera to Photostitch mode the camera functions fine. I have updated the firmware successfully.
BTW - The camera has never been dropped or abused in any way and is in immaculate condition.
Questions-
1) has anyone had a similar experience and if so what is the cure?
