Tamron 17-50 samples!

Hi, I've found that another guy has found these samples of the new Tamron 17-50 2.8 on Pbase. Not really easy to understand the quality of lens though... Anyway it seems to me that CA is well controlled. Here's the link:

the samples really don't tell us much . . . other than saying that he needs to work on the WB. ;)

lol.. yeah, my 20D has less noise at ISO1600. Those look about on par for ISO3200 on the 20D

can't really see from these shots if the Tamoron is anything to wait for? Any news on the Tokina 16-50 yet?
