I think I may have botched these in PP. Any tips on work flow pertaining to resizing when cropping would be appreciated

You have a couple of great poses of one of my favorite birds, Paul. The last one is very nice under difficult light and focus conditions.
There's a tutorial here somewhere (by Scottes?) about cropping with the marquee tool [rectangle icon] instead of the crop tool. I usually choose 'fixed aspect ratio' (from the style tab at top) of either 3x2 or 4x3 for the crop, then go to Image->Image Size for the resize.

#4 is by far the best in this series, and a very hard to shot to get I'm sure. #1 is good, #2 and #3 its a little harder to focus on the heron because of all the grass.

The 4th one is a great pose, and I definitely like the crop on the one above.
And yes, I do have a cropping tutorial posted: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=34567

Very nice series, I agree the 4th one is the best. The others take a little while to figure out what the heron is doing. You did a great job. Scottes tutorial is worth reading.
