I recently purchased a sony VCL-0637H wide angle conversion lens. the shopkeeper said it was compatible with the camera, they only had 0.56 and 0.60, nothing around 0.7/0.8. My question is, when I use the lens, my lcd shows that the right and left side of the frame is slightly curvy (sometimes quite curvy, some people call this vignetting) and when there is a bright light source, you can actually see the lens flare on the picture, how do i solve this problem? is the lens unsuitable for my camera (s45 with ckcpower adaptor) or do i need a 0.7/0.8 wide angle lens? the only solution i have at the moment is to adjust the focal length to get a good picture. Please help.
