Misc 03 - eh, sorry. Does nothing for me.

Misc 06 - So THATs where I left the keys to my Mercedes.

Old Bedroom I really like, BUT, the "Diffuse Glow" filter is SO 5 minutes ago. I would like to see an unfiltered image on that one.

I like "Ovation" but I am not sure why. I don't play guitar, so that is not it. Maybe I just like the colors and the inviting texture. Off topic - Did you just get a new macro lens?

Plant 01 is OK, but does nothing for me. Perhaps the background is a little busy?

Plant 02 is also nothing spectacular and needs to be rotated 1 or 2 degrees clockwise. Both Plant images seem to be asking for something more... I wish I could be more specific.

River - NOW THAT I really like. How natural are the colors. I hope very. What was your exposure time? The only distraction is the 2 people, but I do not know if taking them out would add to the image. Very Nice.

Sunset 01 - Hmm... Just a personal taste, but I don't care for silhouettes of people that don't include the face. If I can see a face (in profile, of course - I am still talking about silhouettes) I can tell if the person in being contemplative, amused, etc. Without the cue from the subject, I find myself less involved.

Sunset 02 - Very nice catch.

UBC 03 - Nice balance, but missing something. Too busy to be minimalist, but still a little sterile.

UBC 03 Like it, Like it, Like it. Star filter? Not sure, but I really like it.

hey thnx for ur comments and advice!

im still a newbie in photography but always loved it, just never had a chance and time to pick it up.

the oldbedroom pic was taken without any filters, just added some effects with photoshop to make it look... "old" and give it a lil creepy touch. the original image was kinda boring but i saw the shoes, doll and the "glow" through the doll house so i thought adding a little blur and noise would add to that feeling.

ovation i like because of the softness the incadecent light added to the image, shows how a guitar can be sometime to me.

the river image was taken in almost complete darkness. i could barely make out the details with my eyes except for the barely sunlite horizen in the background. again it was taken with the original lense of my powershot A70. exposure was 10s with aperture to 4.5. i didnt like the ppl in the background but they were there wen i took the pic, and wen they left, it was way too dark to show anything that looked decent. the black and white and sephia image of it was my camera setting and i used only auto contrast and color in photoshop. for the full color one, i used contrast +5 and saturation +10 to get that result.

for the UBC03 pick u like it 3x, did u mean UBC8? i didnt use anyfilters but exposure to 8secs with aperture 5. it was also taken in almost complete dark sky

keep the comments coming!! thnx
