Going through some old shots tonight after a very unsuccessful day away today. Heres yet another one of Loch Voil, with a lonely tree just waiting to be claimed..

Oh,i can hear the bells ringing here,REFLECTIONS AND BLUE SKY again?
Oh dear,oh dear.
About the picture now, what can i say...not much really, the picture speaks for itself.
Absolutelly stunning.
If i could find something to talk about is the fact that i can see a tiny halo around the mountain, cann`t figure out what it is because its not on the entire line of it.
Well done buddy,great shot.;)

The locals must be sick of photographers.
Lovely scenery. Was it taken in the autumn?

It may be blue skies but it's not too recent:)

Thanks:o I was just trying to cheer myself up by messing about with some of my older shots after having a terrible day up at Glencoe yesterday; being caught up in hailstones and all sorts, and to make it worse have no good photos to show for it:mad:

I never noticed that until you mentioned it, I checked the original files and it looks like jpeg compression artefacts on this small size I saved for the forum

They will have to change the road from single track soon if this keeps up:D

3 weeks ago on one of those cold fresh days with no wind:lol:

Lovely shot Strax mate :)
Was that shot taken up near the Loch Doine end of the Voil ?
Bad luck about todays venture :(
Yesterday was perfect looking (A bit windy though) but today was just rank rotten, weatherwise.
Same for the weekend too :(

Hmmm blue skies, perfectly smooth water...you've gone and done it again. It looks like Scottie and I keep all the bad weather just so you and Dimitri get the good shots. ;)

Nice image with good, strong leading lines and wonderful foreground interest and depth. The colour is superb, ceertainly not over cooked as some tend to do, looks very natural. Old image or new, well photographed and processed and certainly makes up for the bad weather.
Good shooting

no the other end, near Balquihidder. It was late afternoon so I was facing away from the sun. The few shots I took in the other direction, towards the sun, were terrible:(
Heres one of Loch Doine looking towards Loch Voile taken about 1 hour previous to the first

It was yesterday I went, and it was bad:cry: (sometimes you just can't trust weather forecasts)

It was an old shot so it was still only a couple of sunny, calm days;)

Hehehe, the cool thing about working on a laptop is that it is easy to turn upside down....and it confirmed my first impressions....what a fantastic reflection! Beautiful shot:D
