I just bought my brand new 10D, and so far I am very happy witn it. Just I would like to share my "problem" in case someboby noticed the same. When taking pictures of nature (I mean green color is mainly in the frame) I noticed that the green of the objects in the picture was greener than the reality. I though that it was a "digital" problem but .... surprise! is the lense!. When I look through the viewfinder before taking the picture, is greener than it should be. Any comment?. The lense is Canon 28-135 IF. Thank you

What location are you noticing this in?
I get that when I am shooting subjects in the woods or under a canopy of trees, but I would expect that as a portion of the light hitting the subject is being filtered through the foliage.

In every location and light condition. Plenty of sun direct over the plants, or in the shade.

When I took my 10D out of the box and started to shoot just about everything had a blue hue to it. After much putzing about with it I ended up rebooting the camera and everything was fine. You might want to try this.

When I look at typical pictures of cameras (as in advertisement), lenses attached to most cameras have purplish hue.

Are these actual photos or do people modify the appearance of lenses to make them more respectable?

This is a known problem with the Jpeg conversion of FVU. Try saving the files with a card reader and use either C1, or Breezebrowser to process the images.
Better yet shoot in RAW and process with C1.
