I'm experimenting with some black and white conversions of some bodybuiliding pictures I took this weekend.
I was looking for opinions on this conversions, and how it could possibly be improved (other than the poor crop;))

Thanks guys and gals!

Amazing body! The light has brought out the features very well. My eye was drawn immediately to the black vein on his right arm. And then I went looking for more and found a few on the left arm. Not sure what they are or if it's natural. I really like the facial features shown. It's B&W and yet I can see it bronzed....weird. Nice shot except for the crop.

Nice shot -- IMO the guy on the right is distracting... Dennis

Thanks guys, yep, as mentioned, the crop was horrible, but i wanted to practice on this one before I spent time on the "good" images :)
Titus, that "black" you see is actually sweat, which combines with the tanning lotion they wear. It does actually look pretty cool imho.
The bronzing you see is a SLIGHT duotone I added with a Color Balance layer. I added 3 to the red and 3 to the yellow in the midtones.
