Ahmad, this is highly interesting and excellent quality. Just for curiosity, in your sig you have Pro 1 ... is that the one you used (attached to to a telescope)?

Great shots Ahmad of a memorable occasion. Was there any wildlife around apart from camera people- often start behaving vey oddly during eclipses- especially birds.

Thank you very much for your extremely kind words Olli. Yes, all the shots are with the Pro1 + 1.5X tele convertor = 300 mm (not a telescope)

Thank you very much for your kind words and continuous support Brian. The place was in the middle of the desert and no wildlife was there. the only odd thing that I noticed, away from any water surface, A large green dragonfly  flying here and there (may be following me all the way ???).

Brilliant - I mean before it went dark! ;)
A once in a lifetime trip I would imagine, and one that 20 years ago would not have been so easily seen from Libya.
I hope you sent a postcard of your photo to Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi and thank him for allowing you to have such a big lens in his Country.
EDIT - I just realised Ahmad, that you live in Libya... Shukran gazilan.
Cousin, who's only seen a partial solar from Scotland.

I have always believed that you and the Pro1 were made for each other.
These are amazing shots Ahmad, of what must have been a very tricky subject. I'm not sure if I would have pointed my Pro1 at the sun! Think I'll stick to the bugs!.

A great series, and such a chance of a lifetime to witness and record such an event.
I like the scope in the 5th shot.. Meade LX200. I use one myself.

very cool Ahmad............ the corona shots are awesome..... you've even managed to capture some Baileys beads (when the moons rough cratered surface breaks up the sunlight and small parts break through)
I've seen 1 total solar eclipse in my life and it is an awesome spectacle...
(something you will remember for the rest of your life)

Thank you very much for your kind words Alan. I learn't the tricks of the Bailey's Beads and the diamond Ring (although mine is some moments late then the right time) just before the eclipse started, from a member of Rice Space Institute. He showed me some really excellent shots of his previous records.
And yes, you are right. it's unforgetable..
