Hi,
I know it is a silly question but can anyone tell me if the D60 has any internal memory that might store an image taken without a media card.
Bill.

From a practical standpoint no.

Technically the buffer will hold 8 images, but when you open CF card door it clears buffer. Or at least mine does.

It also clears buffer when you turn camera off, which you have to do to hook up to computer, but once you have it hooked up, you don't need the camera buffer any more. Catch 22.

Just my experience. I will admit though I have not tried with 10D or either D60 or 10D with WinXP which is better at recognizing USB devices.

Also, I can't remember if you can even take pictures without CF card in place.

That's a Custom Function on the D60. Don't know about the 10D.

Just my contribution the the world's storehouse of useless trivia.
