Extremely confused on where to post this. Mods please move if I've chosen the wrong forum!
Anyway - first time ever shooting in this type of environment and would just like some C&C. Not yet equipped to do it right as I was shooting with my thrifty fifty. (Only lens I have that would get me anywhere close on shutter speed). Shooting from the 7th row but my daughter and I had a blast!

Thanks in advance!

Great shots even from the 7th row! I remember seeing the Globetrotters back in the 70's when they came to my school for an exhibition game. That's when Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal were still playing. It was a great time for sure.

Hey pc411 :)

I had a chance to shoot the globetrotters last year, courtside :) the arena they were playing looks like it was quite a bit better than yours, I think you've done well considering :)

here was my effort, please excuse the site design, im in the process of a redesign:

Harlem Globetrotters at the Manchester Evening News Arena, Friday May 13th 2005 (http://www.twilight-photography.co.uk/?content=gallery.php&dir=/Sports/Basketball/Harlem_Globetrotters)

Cheers

Tom.

Good pictures. What settings were you using. The first two look like a lot of dof.

PS. I really like your avatar too!!!
