Grackle...

Lovely colors they can get when the sun hits them right. There's a bunch of different ones and sometimes it's hard to tell one from the other without seeing the tail in flight,. but I'd guess this is the "common" variety as opposed to "boat taled" or "Great tailed"

Like Cyber said a common grackle, bronze race. Nicely captured you really brought out the irridescent plummage.

It looks a bit like a purple glossy starling,but i think you should take cybers appinion,he knows better than me,not that good with IDing birds.
Great captures anyway.

I'd also agree with Common Grackle ... just gotta love the colors on this bird.
