i have xp pro and it works fine with my g1. i am using the software that came with the camera. i didnt have to even download updated drivers.

Download XP (USB) drivers for G1 from Canon website!

Hi Sheree,

It works fine with Win XP. I'm currently using Win XP Pro and downloaded the updated drivers from the Canon web site. If you do take care to read the caveat on the Canon site, re using TWAIN USB drivers - you should use the WIA USB drivers.

I found XP to work great with the new USB driver from Canon. The only complaint I have is that now I can't import from USB source within Photoshop 6 to properly open the Canon RAW image converter. Has anyone had luck with this?
