Hey guys! Sorry been busy, I missed this forum alot, ok lets cut to the chase I finally did it, after really really deep thought, I decided to purchase the 1Ds Mark II today.

A few questions, since I am doing alot of studio work now and location commercial / catalog print shoots, i know this camera will be usefull, my 20D was not just delivering what clients want.

Battery wise, do you guys carry a spare strip? I noticed that its different battery already from the 20D.

Any more suggestions I get for this baby? I already replaced my 70-200 f/4 lens to the 2.8 IS one, so everything you see in my equipment list is the same except for the lens and a new addition to the camera.

I might sell my 20D sometime, but not for now, cause I still love the reach of this camera.

So to all Mark II owners I was wondering if you guys would share some tips, I was just trying to hold this post until I had it in my hands, but my fingers are to excited to keep it from my POTN buds....

I have the 1DMIIN. Its battery life is excellent, but I still carry an extra battery just in case. Congrats on the 1DSMII, you have a great camera.

Congrats on the camera, I have an extra battery but never need to use it yet and I do a lot of studio/commercial/location work, I would say you need the E1 canon handstrap I know I do when I have the 70-200 L IS on it. this sucker gets heavy after a few hours.
