I read a review today on a well known digital camera web forum that had all the specs of the new Nikon D2H camera body. It shows that the list price for USA dollars as 3500.00 and like most people know, the 'list' price is inflated by roughly 20%. I estimate the cost of this camera once it hits shelves will be some where in the area of three thousand USA dollars. This will mean that Nikon will bring the D-SLR professional line of cameras down to more affordable prices.
It wasn't long ago that the D30 was priced at three thousand dollars. Today, we see a whole new and better camera that costs half of what the D30 did with the introduction of the 10D.
I for one am glad to hear the news of the low list price of the new Nikon D2H.
I look forward to the next generation professional digital camera from Canon to be competitive in it's capabilities and priced at a much more afordable sticker price.
