Way to kill a $400 camera....
Still takes great pics tho, anyone wanna make me a deal? =) Gonna have to see what kind of arm and leg Panasonic would charge me to fix it tho.

Oh dear.
You might find a new LCD isn't that expensive.
As for the dust? Thats nothing!
There isn't even signs of anywhere on the case :)
And remember a flip screen LCD is only any good if you remember to fold it up again.

Fortunately I baby my 20D, but I needed a 'Pocket Cam'. Guess the pocket wasnt really safe.

Eeew, nasty. I often carry my S80 in my pocket too, although I generally try to keep the LCD against my leg. Do you know how it happened, Sam? ..might give me a tip for avoiding something similar happening to mine.

No clue how it happened. I was about to take a picture of a Racoon who was lost and looking scared in the road on my way to work, I pulled it out of my jacket pocket and discovered it, could have happened days before or that morning.
So it wasnt a major event that did it, something banged into it and happened without my knowledge.

The fold in LCD was the main thing I wanted on my Canon camera, but ended up getting the A520 that does not have it. I actually still have the plastic sheet still on mine because I don't want to scratch it. but I LOVE the flip in option, it should be on every canon digital! :D
