A sportrait of the catcher and a young runner breaking for second.

I think both of these would be better sportraits if they included a bit more action. For example in #1 a puff of dust flying from his mitt would tell us that he just caught the ball. In #2 I'd like to know where he is on the base path -- if first base is in the frame of the original then it would probably look better cropped so that the bag in the frame too.
