View Full Version : Anyone have any experiences with the new A540?

I'm really considering this camera for my point and shoot purchase to go along with my DSLR. I didn't want to spend a bundle on one. I liked that this had 800 ISO since some of my shots will be underwater. I need to decide soon so I'll have to play with is before Hawaii, any advice is appreciated.

I use it for few days and returned it and order A610 instead. The flash recycle time is very slow and the screen goes blank. 6-7 sec flash recycle time and my sd550 is faster than that. The only good about it the pictures are less noisy. The skin tone of most of the shots are yellowish compared to my G6. Just wandering if A700 would be faster than A540. Just to let you know I would never exchange my A610 to A540 or A700. I even use it alot compared to my sd550 and G6. It feels very fast both recycle times and focusing.
