Like the subject line says, "Where is everybody?" Am I up too early? I guess the Kiwis are asleep, but man! It's Saturday! Do you people have lives or something? (obviously, I don't!)

Anyway, just thought I'd chime in with a useless, go nowhere thread! :)

Maybe that's it! Maybe they're actually taking pictures, which is something I should be doing! That would explain a lot... Would also explain why my pics suck! (not enough practice) :-(

Hmmm, this is an April Fool's joke, right? I've looked at your work, it certainly doesn't suck, no way. Do we need a reason to take pictures? I kinda think its just feeding a healthy addiction, hehehehe

Wow. Thanks!

Good point! I guess it's better than drinking myself into oblivion before noon! :-)

So you're saying that "Out drinking at the pub" would go over better than "on the computer all night?"

so a good friend of mine told me yesterday that she's turning a new leaf and ordered herself a 20D to replace her Pentax.. I was happier for myself than for her!! Finally somebody will go out and play with me..:D :D :D .. So, i'm thinking what kind of little congratulations present to get for her.... was thinking a nice neckstrap (we all know what the one in the box will be like).. Or a rocket blower... hmmm... any ideas?

sari.

p.s. thought i'd contribute to the thread..

Sari, I like both your ideas. Also, how about an extra battery (too expensive?) or maybe a lens filter?

Sterlingtek batteries are cheap (10 bucks). I second the POTN strap. She gets a nice strap, and you support the forum at the same time.

As per suggested, and since it's payday, I've just treated myself to a blue POTN strap! Yay! It should go well with my new Sig 30mm f/1.4 (which is supposedly in Louisville, KY, on it's way to my front door in Colorado! WooHoo!) :-)

Cute drool machine!
I was meant to be at a horse show today. Bucketing down here like there's no tomorrow - turned the car around and came home. I don't mind getting wet but the precious cargo stays firmly in the bag till I can get my hands on some wet weather gear for it. Any suggestions welcomed.
P.S. You'll be pleased to another Kiwi on the board I'm sure :) .

I was just there with a friend of mine checking out a doctoral program. Special Ed, I think, but I'm not sure. Seemed pretty good! Pretty place!
