Hello All!!

I just bought my a70 on the 16th, and i couldn't be happier... who thought such a small digital device could bring so much pleasure!

here's the question... i'm pretty sure it's nothing, but when zooming, the lcd seems to have horizontal 'scan lines' on it. This only happens once in a while, and it has no effect on picture quality whatsoever... I'm sure someone knows what I'm talkin about, so instead of going into detail, i'll eave room for someone to stop me......

thanks,

ry

IVe only seen the vertical ones when there is to much light in a picture, usually from directly looking into the sun.

Horisontal, well i haven't seen them on mine as yet.

This is a known 'bug' - see the Canon website. It's also mentioned in numerous reviews. it appears to be cause by noise leaking from the zoom motor.

I can't find it on the canon site either and I'm afraid I didn't book mark it at the time - it doen't effect the camera's operation - so I doubt you'll get a refund - I guess it's a feature rather than a bug!
