Heres several shots from a few games covered over the last few weeks, mix of amateur and professional games, all shot with the 1dmk2 and Canon 300 IS or 70-200 IS

great shots, im guessing these shots are of a rugby league due to the high tackles.

Apart from some noise in the picture, the action and expression are captured so nicely! Absoutely love them. It's like Gman shooting rugby. :)

Thanks guys, i should have been more specific, it is Rugby League not Union, fatatalities are common place.

Great shots! Love the expressions in each photo.
I wish I had rugby to shoot around these parts. There is a local team which I discovered last fall and shot a couple of games and what a blast! Rugby is a great game to shoot.

6 & 9 are my fav shots. Wouldn't want to meet number 9 in a dark alley way! Would like to see some wider shots, of team members running along side the ball. Just an idea!
