Despite the prediction of rain yesterday, I decided to head down to the San Diego Zoo. I hadn't been there since I go the 20D, so I figured it would be a good chance to run it through its' paces with something other than concert photography:
This is a "Lesser Flamingo". Not sure why it's not a "Morer Flamingo", but I don't get to name them:

Thanks to my extensive training in the field of Zoology, I'm able to tell you that this is a "Giraffe":

I don't know what this is, but I loved the expression. He was lookin' at me about as long as I was lookin' at him:

Thankfully, the Polar Bears were pretty active:

I almost opted to put these next two shots, of a Sun Bear, in the "Glamour" section. She was really hamming it up:

These were all shot with the 20D, with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L and Tamron 1.4TX.
