2 pictures, Maddie and the rain & Claw Feet

A little girl I was watching the rain with a few days ago. There was biig hail too. In photoshop I... resized, and added a little grain because I like how it looks. It already had a bit of noise.

An apartment across the street. The similarities between iron register feet and human feet.

These are among my first pictures, other than snapshots you know. I'd appreciate it if you could critique them for me, because I see too many faults always in all of them. I need other people's oppinions.

First picture is excellent. The lighting and exposure and compostion have great impact. I would crop just a litte off of the left margin in order to get rid of the two dark round things.

In the second shot, I think the composition is far better if you crop away the bottom 1/3rd and leave a landscape format image - it also avoids the distracting bright reflection.

Both pictures have great interest and impact.
