The old Confederate Soldier's Home (http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whatwehave/mil/campabout.htm), now on the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts grounds. It was originally built in the 1880s, when the Fan District was the outer suburbs of Richmond, as a rest home for Confederate veterans. The Museum is currently adding a huge parking deck and expansion, so the entire area is behind fences and barbed wire.
