Wow, fantastic, both of them. Aptly titled, they look almost apocalyptic.

Seems like old times... As always Don, you put many of us (mostly me) to shame. Wonderful images!

It's not just you... he puts us ALL to shame.
Nice work Don.

Yes, I did... thank you, CDS. :)
But I will admit before someone checks the EXIF data that this was taken in with my last G1m (in the three weeks that I had it) and never developed. I was looking through old images last night and decided to do something with these two.
Cheers,
Don

Thank you, Peter. They look pretty good on my monitor but I was working at a client's office today and checked them out on their (old, tiny) monitor and they weren't so hot -- reminded me that they're going to look different on everyone's equipment.
Oh, well, it's nothing I can control, so I let it go. Glad your monitor is showing them decently. :)
Cheers,
Don

Chuck, Chris... thanks, but stop that. :)
You can only be friends with peers and I consider most of us here friends. We all have unique approaches and visions and I learn from, and often marvel at, what others post here.
I've also come to a few conclusions about photography -- one of which is that I used to believe you could go anywhere and shoot anything and make it interesting and compelling. I don't believe that anymore. I wander around one area of Causeway Bay that I frequent and I always think, "There's nothing here to photograph" -- at least for me; someone else might find a gold mine of opportunity.
I mention this because all I did here was capture the scene. If it hadn't been for the buildings and the fog and the spaced-out trees, nothing would have happened.
Bottom line: it's helpful to live in interesting surroundings.
Thanks for your generous comments. It's always good to hear from you.
Cheers,
Don
