I have very good experience with B&H NYC, even ordering from Switzerland.

I've been using B&H for years. (Before them, I used the old 47th St. Photo - NOT the place that bought the rights to the name and currently calls itself 47th St. Photo.) B&H is a quality act, no two ways about it.

Don't forget - of the 2,295,029 camera dealers in NYC, precisely 99.8258% are disreputable. And although a really confident and knowledgable buyer, with extensive legal training, can sometimes get a good deal out of one of the 99.8258%, even we find it to be a real challenge, most of the time. For used equipment, I can recommend KEH (http://www.keh.com). Their prices on used stuff seem high, at first. But you have to understand that an item KEH grades as "very good" would often sell as "Mint" from other dealers. So you have to take that into account in deciding whether a KEH price is reasonable.
