I have a Canon 10D, a 550EX flash, a 420EX flash and I just picked up a second 420EX. I really like the idea of the Canon Wireless TTL with ratios. When I just had two flashes I would set the 550 to group A and the 420 to group B and then use the ratio setting on the Master 550 to determine the ratio.

Now with the second 420 I can add another flash and this I should think would be Group C. On one site it was mentioned that I could control this third flash by changing the power settings, +3 to -3. I just don't know how to do this with the 420 which has no independant settings other than E-TTL. As far as that goes I don't know how I'd do this with a secnd 550 (if I had one) since that flash won't work on Wireless TTL if it's set at manual - or so I'm told.

Any thoughts?
