Hi Guys,
Does anyone know why the maximum movie resolution with the S45 is only 320x240 and whether any firmware updates or any thing like this can increase this in the Future?
I have seen debates in the past which I tatally agree with in that ' what do you want from your Camera?' if you want high quality movie then buy a Camcorder!,if you want good stills buy a decent still camera, I agree!! The reason for the post is that until having the ability to record some candid movie clips with the same small camera used for excellent stills ( which I have with the S45 ) rather than card a camcorder and a still camera about everywhere, I realise how nice an addition it is, but am slightly dissapointed that the higher specced S45 has a lower movie resolution than the cheaper ( but well speced) A70.
Like I say it doesn't bother me too much as it does everything I wanted it to do excellently and even the movie mode I have come to apreciate, but do wonder why it wasn't slightly better in resolution as it is clearly possible? as shown by the A70 and a number of other manufacturers.
Regards.
