Hello everyone,
Another one from my feeder today. They say practice makes perfect but I have a long way to go. Now if I could only get that Fox Sparrow that's around
Comments are always welcomed.

Nice sharp image. Bad rep though they have, they are handsome birds.
Fox sparrows are almost totally ground feeders. If you have them about, it's a good idea during sparrow migration to cast handfuls of cracked corn on the ground around your feeders. I'm sure they perch above ground now and then, but I've never seen a fox sparrow on a perch around our feeders or on the feeders themselves.

Thanks Steve and Lazy. Not exactly a bald eagle or an owl, but I did like the lighting a bit. I do thank you both for your comments and advice.
Thanks again.

Very nice shot, very sharp and a great background. I wish it had a bit more light on the front, though.

Nice capture on the sparrow. I have a little male sparrow, looks just like this one, hangs around, always ready to serve as a model.
