Random rain showers and very mobile clouds made the game interesting to shoot. The horrible backgrounds could not be avoided, but that's ok because field sports are just awesome.

Love the action and mud + muck + a little blood in the third shot... back ground is unfortunate but hey, that is life. Nicely processed images as usually. Cheers.

Thank you Mark. The rain and puddles certainly helped make some of the shots look a lot more action packed than they were.

Yea, basketball is over and now I get to do some other fun sports, mainly baseball. I don't know if I'll get another chance this year to take photos of lacrosse, but it sure would be nice if I could.

At first, I found it very hard to follow the ball around on the field. After 15 minutes or so it became much easier to tell what was going on and I started to follow the ball easier. I guess I could say this was harder than basketball because I couldn't just sit under the hoop and wait for the action :)

My main reason for liking field sports so much is LIGHT! I also get to use longer lenses (which I love doing) and I think the shots are more diverse and interesting. A lot of the times with basketball I see the same shots over and over. Field sports are so random that you can get very different photos for each game.

I was thinking the extra light would be orgasmic after shooting in the dark dungeons basketball...LOL
