More cake shots!

Those are nice shots, and they look tasty too. I think I like the first one the best. The depth of field in the second is bugging me a little bit, but it's still a good shot. I like the lighting in all of them. Nice work!

I think the first one is my favourite, would be great for the cover of a cook book.

I feel the 2nd could use more depth of field.

The first shot is perfect.

The second shot is cropped a bit... akwardly - and the focus point almost falls of the frame...? I can see where you were going with the shot - but perhaps changing the arrangement so that more of the front cake is in the frame - giving you a " logical " point of focus would work. I wouldn't change th DOF at all.

The last shot is not lit right for me - the light falls off to much towards the end... and it just makes the cakes look... dull?

That arrangement on the tray would have been the perfect opportunity to compose a 'diagonal' shot, leading your eye better. As it is, is cropped quite bluntly.

You are doing a fantastic job though - and its great that you notice amazing shots in every day occurances...!

I like the first on the best, but I wish that the slice of cake wasn't cut at the bottom. I'd like to see the third a bit more centered.

Thanks for all the comments. I hardly even looked into the viewfinder, so I know the DOF could be a lot better and angles too. I'm fairly happy still with what I got! :)
