Hi there,

I read an article about a 2 MP digital single use camera.
No screen, 25 pix, $11, have to bring to photoshop to "develop" the photos and put them on cdrom

What do you think of that?

Can't see the point. It is half the price for a film single use and you get a higher quality image

Just a guess but I think all it is is a film single use camera which gets processed at the photolab and you get digitized images burned to a CD along with the prints.

Were you referring to the Kodak digital single use camera? (I can't get to the link you posted).

The link works for me...
anyway it's
'Dakota Digital Single-Use Camera, built on the Pure Digital Imaging Platform'.
They write it's reusable (after having been to the lab) and has some securities so people can't get the pictures themselves, but hab to go to a lab
I think it's insane to throw more (electronic) trash in nature. The film single use cameras already had a lot of plastic to be disposed of (not to speak of those with a built-in flash)
