so here is my boredom shot... tied a flashlight to a string and twirled it around the guitar.. looks pretty cheasy, but I kind of like it

Definitely a cool shot. Definitely 80s. I'm still curious about the lighting.
So, the only thing illuminating the guitar is the flashlight? If so, how did u keep the light from illuminating the background, it looks so dark... Did you adjust the BG in photoshop at all?
Sorry, just curious about your technique...
