Err 22

after taking a few pictures I tried to view them using a kodak program. the thumbnails started to load then stopped loading on one of the last few pictures. The computer was locked up had to reboot but then pictures wouldn't load. I then put the the CF card back in the D30 it gave the err22 mesasge.
Looking at the dir in my computer the file names are uninteligible. computer code that makes no sense to me.
Does any one know what caused this? How can I recover the pictures? Or can I

Use any disk doctor type application (e.g. Norton Disk Doctor) to check the CF disk - it should have standard FAT filesystem.

Maybe the Kodak program tried to write something there and messed things up. I really hope you can recover the images.

Disk Doctor did solve the problem even saved the pictures. It's strange I wasn't thinking of the compack card as a disk and I even have the 1g drive. I couldn't erase some of the files so I did have to reformat the card .
I have used the Kodak program for a long time and had no problems before so I'm still in the dark as to what caused the problem. At least now I have the solution. Thanks again, Frank Cline
