Hi all, a few pics from my attempt at Oulton Parks first meet of the year.

C&C much appreciated on these,
have only cropped and applied a bit of USM, am at work so not done anything else

No way to treat a FF1600

Synchronized spinning, they both appeared in Old Hall sideways!

It was a bit wet in places around Oulton which meant some interesting driving on the grass, this guy (who I parked next to) managed to get his Merc stuck in the mud, much to his wife’s annoyance, my girlfriend went back to my car and heard the wife giving him an ear bashing, eventually the marshals came to the rescue, pushed him out then ran back to their posts for the next race, only for him to get stuck again as he tried to drive through an even muddier patch!!! The wife just sat there arms folded looking out the side window with a face like thunder, eventually a Range Rover rescued him. He was not the only one mind, the Golf you can see in the second pic buried himself up the front bumper and had to be rescued by tractor.

nice work, the XR Challenge boys don't mind swapping paint do they?!

#2 is nicely timed and exposed, shame you can make out the criss-cross of the fencing for the TVRs though

typical Merc driver too :D

The "Don't stack it" text on the side of the white FF in shot 1 is very apt! :D

Nigel (shot 1) had a DNF so it certainly wasn't the right way to treat an 18 year old Van Diemen.

The inside of Old Hall can be an 'interesting' place to be, especially for Ford saloons for some reason. They have some fascination with the barrier on that side of the track, mainly due to over-correcting errors on the outside of the corner.

The shorter Fosters configuration makes life tougher on the outside of the fences, although the racing tends to be more exciting. Fosters/Knickerbrook isn't the best of places as you can't get rid of the fences and you have too many cones in the background. Old Hall exit outside where the fence ends, Deer Leap dip on the outside or near Warwick Bridge (where you can see some flowers tied to the fence) are much better places.
